1 - Not sure what you mean

2 - PhpAdsNew - now called OpenAds. There's a vbulletin plugin to handle the integration. if you combine that with some of the other ones for display like the ones I use you'l get the effect you're looking for

3 - You can do it on a per forum basis. I presume you mean you want to know every time there is a new post? Or do you want to moderate?

Cheers for reply Michele

1- its a gambling site- so when someone mentions ladbrokes , I want to substitute my affiliate link url for the word laddies..

VBSeo can probably do that (see my sig)
2- hmm.. I heard this product causes pages to load quite slowly (altho the guy who told me this gets mega traffic).. possible workaround using iframes?
Only if you implement it badly. There's no reason for it to have an impact on performance if you have it configured correctly
3- I want any user who posts a thread to be automatically subbed to that thread by default (but able to disable this if they desire)..
Just change the user options from the admin control panel

Zoint doesn't offer the same level of functionality, which is why I currently own 4 licenses for vbseo :)
