Paid Links?

Search.ie gets a LOT of spammy and really terrible submissions.

Do you think it would be madness to start charging €5 per submission?

I'm thinking that I'd make most of the business / commercial categories paid and leave the personal / government types ones free

Common it does need a face lift.
You have some many nice looking websites and this one is the oldest.
If you start charging you might as well get it done.

4 NI charge £200 per year! and that model works.
