I've been thinking of changing the domain of my personal website glenquinn.me to GQ-Marketing.

I Initially created the site as It's part of my studies to get google certified. (I will be blogging everything I learn).

I'm now getting a bit of work from it. Should I use a more professional domain? ie: gq-marketing.ie

Your thoughts are welcomed, thanks.

I'd avoid the hyphen in the domain name.

I'd also keep the personal domain / site and setup a new one for your business.

Try to find something that is keyword rich and related to what you are doing. While you might be working alone now you might end up with staff further down the line, so maybe you should consider not tying it to closely to your personal name

And (unrelated) check your signature links - it looks like you were on one page when you went to the other and you've ended up with a redirected link (if you look at the path you should be able to see what I mean)
