Hey guys, I'm a romanian web developer, based in Dublin since June, currently working for a digital agency here in Dublin.
I started out with Pascal in about the 8th grade,moved on to C/C++ in the 10th and I'm developing websites for about 2.5 years now. Server-side language of choice is PHP, MySQL database and the rest is quite common anyway. I have a blog on which I post development articles when I get some more time which will probably appear in the signature as soon as I get to hang around here a bit more.
That's about it, feel free to ask any questions or anything

Hi All,
I'm a newbie so i'll follow all your examples and post in here for a quick hi
I've been working my butt off the last 2 years at SEO and i'm finally getting confident at what I can do.
The recession has kicked my butt so I'm trying to get creative and use some of my skills in SEO and online marketing to hopefully fund myself for a while.
Still a lot to learn but I'm working on it and feel a little bit better now that I've come across this forum

I'm Mike Cahn, half of Indytech, a web design & hosting partnership in Co Wicklow. My background is software development, project management, business, and more recently, a lot of community work related to local food issues.
On the website side, for the past few years, we have used the open source CMS called Drupal (drupal.org for more info) for all our websites. We contribute back to the Open Source community mainly by posting on the relevent forums and giving occasional talks at the Drupal conferences.
I'm looking forward to learning & to contributing here where I can
